StephenI formerly worked as a tutor for student-athletes. During this time, I was required to be engaged and encouraging to my students which was not hard to do. I was also respectful and patient, and I communicated well with the students that I taught. I have experience tutoring numerous subject including life sciences, chemistry, nutrition, and physics. I live in the Charles Town area, and I would like to tutor students in and around this area. Outside of tutoring and teaching, I enjoy numerous activities including snowboarding and ice hockey. I plan to become an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon in the future. I am looking forward to meeting and working with new students.

LindseyI am an undergrad student enrolled in an Integrated Language Arts program at Ohio University, which means that I will be qualified to teach English to students in grades 7-12 once I graduate. The program has given me a lot of experience working with high school students, so I already know how to help them in areas such as Literature Comprehension, English Grammar and Syntax, British Literature, Reading, and Writing. I have also volunteered to help students at the University Writing Lab, giving me practical experience editing college admissions essays that I plan to draw on for other written assignments in the future. I consider both reading and writing to be passions of mine, and am comfortable discussing anything from Shakespeare to Modern American Literature. I also enjoy hiking and traveling. If you're interested in working with me, reach out today to schedule a study session!

KianI earned my bachelor's degree in pre-medicine from The University of Texas at Austin. I am a natural test-taker, and I enjoy helping students master the ACT, SAT, and MCAT. Other subjects that I excel in include general chemistry, biology, physics, statistics, English, and many more. I have worked with students of all ages from elementary through college. I earned special honors and graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and next year I will be attending medical school. I have had almost ten years of tutoring experience. When I am not tutoring or attending classes, I like cycling, hiking, shooting photography, and visiting the seven wonders of the world. I look forward to helping you.
