RyanHi, my name is Ryan. I'm a tutor who has a bachelor's degree in biology from Penn State University. I'm also currently pursuing a master's degree in science education at North Carolina State University at Raleigh. I also have my North Carolina teaching license in biology for grades nine through twelve. I have experience teaching and tutoring subjects like biology, algebra, life sciences, and test preparation, amongst other things. When I'm not working as an educator, I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors, and cooking. If you could use help with one of the subjects I specialize in, consider getting in touch with me. I'd love to use my experience to help you.

KatelynnI'm currently studying for my bachelor's degree in Addiction Studies and Human Services. I have a passion for helping students learn, and like to make it fun for them. I feel like my students learn best when they feel safe in the tutoring environment, and I believe every child deserves the assistance they need to succeed academically. I'm available for tutoring in a number of elementary, middle, and high school courses, such as reading, writing, pre-algebra, and basic organization and study skills.

DaneI am a professional actuary who has decided to give back to my community by becoming a certified math teacher in the state of Pennsylvania. I have been tutoring math for several years and am comfortable with all levels of High School Mathematics (from Pre-Algebra to Calculus). I also have experience tutoring undergraduate math courses, especially Statistics and Probability. Finally, I have helped students pass standardized exams such as the ACT, SAT, and LSAT in the past. My defining trait as a tutor is an ability to forge a connection with my students. If they are comfortable enough to ask for help around me, I can make sure that they are always on the right track. I also know numerous teaching techniques, enabling me to adapt my approach to any student's needs. Furthermore, I strive to promote a conceptual understanding of every topic I teach so that my students can solve all questions, not just those worded in a particular way.
