GeneMy name is Gene, and I am currently studying Computer Science as an undergrad at Orange Coast Community College. I'm comfortable with a variety of programming languages, including Java, C++, and Advanced C++. I can also help students with Computer Science topics such as Data Structures, Boolean Algebra, and Discrete Structures. As an active student myself, I feel that students often find me more approachable than somebody older with decades of teaching experience. When I'm not tutoring or working on my own schoolwork, I enjoy playing video games, coding, and working out. I find that many of my students share these passions, making it easier for me to relate to them. Please reach out to me so we can get started soon!

ConnieAfter earning my bachelor's degree in English from the University of California in Irvine, I continued there to earn my master's degree in Teaching. I also earned minors in Education and Japanese. I then went to Japan for four years as part of a program to help kindergarten through ninth grade Japanese public school students learn English. This gave me a great deal of skill in tutoring, as I helped all kinds of children while there. I can tutor most English subjects, and also the Japanese language. When I tutor, I use a scaffolding method, building concepts on top of previous ones and reviewing as we also move forward.

CameronI graduated from Indiana University-Bloomington with a bachelor's degree in east Asian studies. I am a very energetic individual and I love working with students. I began teaching when I was in high school. This experience gave me the tools I needed to work with students and helped me develop a passion for helping students succeed in education. I am comfortable tutoring students in a variety of different subject areas, including philosophical ethics, high school level American literature, and high school economics, to name a few. I am also able to teach students Japanese. My overall goal is to become a college professor. In terms of hobbies, I enjoy swimming, football, baseball, soccer, basketball, tennis, and poetry.
