EialI am currently earning my bachelor's degree in physics and astronomy from Stony Brook University. I love learning and teaching almost as much as I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. I have experience tutoring in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. I can also help students with single variable calculus, introductory astronomy, and Newtonian mechanics including preparation for the REGENTS in math and physics and AP calculus. I am looking forward to helping my students succeed in their academic studies. When I am not in the classroom or helping others, I have many interests. I enjoy playing the trombone, stargazing, and reading. I enjoy helping students and getting to know them.

BenjaminI have always asked why? Asking why has always opened seemingly endless rabbit holes of information for me. Thankfully, my parents fed my curiosity as much as they could. Now I approach teaching in a similar manner. I think that having a deep understanding of subjects comes from knowing the basics. I strive to ensure that my students learn to think for themselves, and I discourage them from blindly following procedures and formulae. I am skilled at tutoring in many subjects such as science, statistics, calculus, test-prep, and more. In my free time, I enjoy numerous activities such as fixing things, building guitar amplifiers, talking about the universe, and recording music.
