JoniI've taught for 15 years in all subjects, grade levels, and levels of ability. I've learned through this experience how to maximize the potential of my students by adjusting my approach and utilizing different teaching methodologies. I encourage students to develop critical thinking skills as well as strong communication skills. This helps foster creativity in students and lets them ask pertinent questions that lead to relevant and innovative solutions. I can tutor students in elementary level math, homework, and writing, reading, writing, English grammar, science, study skills, and special education. When I have free time, I like to swim, read, create and sell jewelry, and play the piano. I also enjoy art and spending time with my family and my dogs.

DebraI attended Westminster College where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Writing. I have over 30 years of experience teaching and tutoring students of all ages. I have taught English to students in Venezuela, and I've taught Spanish to children up to the eighth grade. I've taught students in small groups, in a language institute, and one-on-one. Becoming fluent in a second language can open many doors both educationally and professionally, and it can also make traveling to foreign countries easier and more pleasant. Over the years, I've found a variety of ways to help students learn a foreign language, whether it is through memorization, watching movies, playing games, or role playing. When I tutor you or your child, we'll find the way that makes it easiest for you to learn and retain the new language. Whether you would like to learn a language for school, travel, or for business, I look forward to working with you. Please contact me for assistance with Spanish, Spanish 1, Spanish 2, Spanish 3, Spanish 4, Conversational Spanish, or Greek. I still love to travel, and when I have free time I enjoy going places and learning new cultures. I also like both reading and writing in my spare time.

AlandraI am passionate about science and I love showing people how it relates to the world around them! My love for science led me to obtain my Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, with emphasis in Medical Microbiology and Immunology. Then, I went on to obtain my Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. During my time in school, I learned many skills that I want to pass on to my students. As an undergraduate, I researched plant biology. In medical school, I studied the human body extensively. My love for science only increased as the years went on. As a tutor, my favorite thing is to see my pupils succeed, knowing I helped them in some way. I really want to mentor as many people as I can by sharing my story with them, as well as helping them set goals and achieve them! I have also acquired a long list of tips for academic success along the way, which I am more than happy to share with students as well. When I am not tutoring, I enjoy anything fitness related, cooking, and traveling world-wide. I am looking forward to helping as many people as possible get the help they need!
