SarahI am an English teacher, and my goal is to set students up for college and beyond. I do everything I can to develop skills in students so they can be successful in the world. It takes discipline and hard work, but I make sure my students are as prepared as possible. I attended the University of Louisville, where I got my undergraduate education degree, and later my graduate degree in literacy for pre-K through 12th grade students. I have four years of experience as an English teacher since graduating. In addition to English and language arts disciplines, I can help students prepare for the ACT and other standardized tests. In my free time, I like to read, go to the gym, garden, and write. I also enjoy cars and cats.

MichelleI have extensive academic and professional backgrounds, which make me a great addition to your academic team. I currently work as a high school English teacher. I have my PH.D. and Master of Theatre History, Criticism, and Literature. I also have my Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Theatre. I also have two minors of the graduate level in European Union Studies and Gender and Women's Studies. For more than ten years, I have been teaching humanities classes to high school and college students. I am most passionate about tutoring in writing, study skills, organization, and research, history, and literature, however, I can tutor in many subject areas. My theatre background allows me to bring creativity and excitement into our sessions. I have many techniques to keep students engaged and interested in the material at hand. I know that students learn more effectively if they can see how the material connects to their lives outside of school. I am excited to use my background and expertise to help students excel academically. When I am not tutoring and teaching, you can find me traveling and reading.

GregoryI'm great at English, and I enjoy helping students become skilled writers. I have taught at the grade school level, the high school level, and college seminars. I can help students with literary analysis, essay writing and editing, English grammar, test preparation, and other English related subjects. When I have spare time, I like to write and read for fun, lift weights, tend my garden, practice puppeteering, cook, and do arts and crafts. I'm also interested in animal care.
