TenishaI completed a bachelor's degree in political science and government from Texas A&M University. I also minored in psychology. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in public administration from the same university. I feel like every student has the ability to turn their weaknesses into their strengths by learning new things. This process takes hard work, practice, perseverance, and motivation, all of which I can help students with. I am available to tutor students in a variety of different subject areas, including high school political science, high school level American literature, and middle school reading comprehension, to name a few. In my free time, I enjoy learning new things, hiking, traveling, debating, writing, and reading.

GraceI have over eight years of experience working as a mentor, teacher, and tutor. I am a big proponent of engaged learning. I believe that students are more likely to excel in academics when they are able to make a personal connection to the subject material. My goal as a tutor is to make sure that my students are connecting to the concepts and fully understanding the material we are going over. I graduated from Lander University with a bachelor's degree in history. I also completed a master's degree in international and comparative education at American University. I am comfortable tutoring students in philosophical ethics, European history, and high school level American literature, among others. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, horses, hiking, and reading.
