NicolasTutoring wasn't something I've always wanted to do, but something that kind of fell into my lap. I knew I needed more money than I could get working at the school bookstore in my second year of college, and tutoring offered it. I've always been good at math, so I decided to start there. It turns out that I love working with students to help them achieve their academic goals. I now tutor math from the elementary level through AP Calculus. I also work with students on an individual basis and in small groups. Many of my students initially come to me because they want the answers to the problems on a worksheet. I'll help them, but I don't just give them the answers. Instead, I work with them on how to go about solving those problems, giving them new mathematics skills but also an appreciation for the hard work I know they'll need later in life. I look forward to playing a small role in your success!
