ZacharyI have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan, and experience working with everyone from elementary school children to college kids. I spent three seasons teaching Summer Theater and helping students learn how to run their lines, follow stage directions, and to get into character. I always want my students to set their goals and then put in the work to meet those goals while gaining confidence in their abilities. SuzelLearning to speak a new language can be daunting, but I tutor students in a learning environment that is comfortable and pressure free. Students should feel free to learn at their natural pace, with encouragement and support so they can become confident in their abilities. I spent two years teaching ESL, and I'm a native speaker of Spanish. I'm looking forward to tutoring students in Spanish at all levels, French through the third year, and ESL. When I have free time, I like to draw, sing, and read.

MarthaI'm pursuing a social psychology doctorate from the University of Michigan. I have a master's degree from Duke in global health, as well as a psychology bachelor's degree. As a researcher, my work combined psychology and global health to study how culture has an effect on a person's psychological processes. I love teaching, and I hope to one day become a psychology professor. I can tutor students on GRE and SAT test preparation, along with writing, essays, and grammar. In addition, I can help with AP language classes, psychology, and music theory. Other skills I can help students with include statistics, computer literacy, and French. I believe that the individual attention provided by tutoring helps me cater my lessons to students' individual needs. I also believe a tutor should be patient. Every student learns differently, and it is the responsibility of the tutor to work at the pace and style a student benefits from the most.
