JoshI have a passion for mathematics, especially if I can help a student understand a concept that they previously struggled with. The tricky part about math is that you need to do everything right to get the right answer--there is no margin for error. As a Math Lab tutor at the University of Georgia working with students on Algebra, Precalculus, and Calculus, I discovered that most students already understand most of what they need to. Answer their questions on a couple things that trip them up, and they are well on their way to success! I find that learning math is easier if the process is engaging, so I make use of my corny sense of humor to help my student understand what I'm doing at all times. I am also an avid hockey, music, and football fan, and I enjoy pulling examples from these areas to illustrate an otherwise abstract point. If you need help with Discrete Math, AP Calculus, ACT Math prep, Trigonometry, or Pre-Algebra, I'm your guy!

JesseI am currently enrolled in Emory University earning my bachelor's degree in applied economics. I am available to tutor in test prep. I like helping students who are trying to increase their test scores. Using my own effective study methods I raised my score on the SAT from 1900 to 2300, so I know I can be of help to my future students. I can help with crash courses in test prep or with a more long-term study schedule depending on the needs of the student. I am looking forward to helping others reach their goal test score. I enjoy scuba diving, reading, playing video games, and catching up on sleep in my spare time.

BenHi, my name is Ben. I'm a tutor who is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in biotechnology from the University of Georgia. I love working as a tutor because it gives me the chance to help other students in a personalized way. As your tutor, I could provide you with a customized lesson plan covering topics like biology, environmental studies, physics, chemistry, and more. Consider reaching out to me in order to set up our first meeting if you could use some help with one of these subjects. Private tutoring may be just what you need to reach your full academic potential. When I'm not tutoring or studying, I enjoy cooking, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family.
