MicahThe past five years, I have been working with youth. I have also been working professionally in a college organization. I attended Washington University and have a bachelor's degree in art. I have always been passionate about helping students succeed and it is my goal to continue to do so. I am available to help students with art, as well as preparing for the SAT and ACT exams. In the past five years, I have helped frustrated students get motivated and study effectively. Although I am able to help with many subjects, my favorites are history and math. My method of tutoring involves helping students get in touch with their knowledge and motivation. I believe a lot of the time the reason people fall behind in classes is that they lose touch with those two things. To me, education is what shapes the rest of our lives. I strive to help my pupils shape their futures by succeeding in classes now. When I am not at work, there are many things I enjoy doing. You can find me singing, hanging out with friends, or watching football. I would love to help you or your student achieve academic greatness.

GinnyMy strong educational background contributes to my love of being a tutor. I have an advanced paralegal certification, a bachelor's degree in sociology and psychology and a master's degree in educational technology. I enjoy tutoring in English, writing, and reading. I have taught grade through high school students, as well as taught at Phoenix University online and Duke University. Other experiences I have that help me be a successful tutor include my volunteer position with Toastmasters. I have also served as a judge for mock trials. All of these experiences have enriched my life and now I am hoping to share it with my pupils. I enjoy learning about other people and getting to know each of my students on a personal level. I like to make learning fun and enjoyable for everyone, I believe it helps people learn. Additionally, I try to add some games to the mix, to keep pupils interested in the material they are learning. As soon as I learn your individual interests, I can also recommend some reading that you will like. I look forward to helping you enjoy English and reading as much as I do.

AlenaI have 12 years of experience as an ESL teacher, and I love my work. I believe learning a new language is widely beneficial, and I enjoy taking on the challenge and privilege of helping students along the way. It's very rewarding to see students make progress and communicate in a new language. I have worked with everyone from small children to adults to help them speak, read, write, and listen English. I use a lot of different resources, activities, games to help students learn effectively. I can also help students prepare for exams such as the TOEFL and IELTS. In addition to English language learning, I can also tutor students in Russian. I was born in Russia, and I relish any opportunity to share the Russian culture and language. I believe for students to be successful, I have to be invested in their success and fully understand their needs. In my free time, I like to write blog, cook, study psychology, and take care my family.
