ReneeI am a professional educator with 14 years of teaching experience. I began my career as an elementary school teacher and gradually worked my way up to the middle school and high school levels. Currently, I'm a 9th grade Algebra and Geometry teacher. I love finding new ways to help my students understand challenging concepts because it makes me feel as though I've succeeded as their instructor. I consider myself a math and science teacher first and foremost, but I have taught all academic subjects in the past. I can also help students prepare for several standardized exams, including the ISEE, HSPT, and SSAT. Outside of the classroom, my hobbies include volleyball, lacrosse, and watching my daughters dance.

BrookeI am an experienced tutor who is comfortable with a wide range of subjects. While I was in high school, I tutored students who needed assistance with their middle schools studies, as well as peers of mine who were looking to better themselves in the subjects of science, Latin, and math. Now that I am studying at Duke University, I am eager to continue working with others who are looking for extra push to get them where they want to be academically. I am comfortable tutoring in a variety of math, science, writing, and language areas, as well as helping students prepare for standardized exams, such as the SAT.
