JosephI earned a Bachelor of Science, as well as a Master of Science, in environmental engineering from the University of California - Berkeley. Once I graduated, I worked as a staff scientist in environmental consulting. The projects I worked on were related to improving and ensuring public and environmental health. After working at that job, I spent time as an environmental engineer in Chicago. There I strived to maintain and improve the federal standards of air quality in the Upper Midwest area of the country. Right now, I am pursuing my PhD at USC. I am studying urban air quality and climate change, while dedicating time to tutoring students in math, science, music, computer science, and test prep.

HindaI have over 20 years of experience working as a tutor. I have taught French at both the high school and middle school levels and I have also worked at immersion camps. I also have extensive experience tutoring adults and college students in French. I am also able to teach ESL and Spanish. I graduated from Otterbein university with a bachelor's degree in Spanish. My philosophy as a tutor involves finding the best approach for the situation and adapting the way I teach to fit that. I am also very passionate about world history and geography and would love to tutor students who need extra assistance in these areas. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering, visiting museums, and hiking.

AidaI have tutored students ranging from grades K-12 in the past, making me confident that I can help solve whatever your learning challenges may be. I have a knack for helping people discover how they learn best and then designing lesson plans to take advantage of it. I like tutoring any subject that demands critical thinking skills, including High School Writing, American Literature, ESL, and Essay Editing. I'm also from Mexico, so I speak (and teach) fluent Spanish. My background is in international relations, a major that exposed me to all kinds of wonderful history, sociology, political science, reading, and writing concepts. In my spare time, I enjoy learning how to play the guitar and attending interesting events across the great city of Los Angeles! If you have your own passions, please allow me to incorporate them into your study sessions!
