JavierI earned my Bachelor of Science degree in general biology from the Millersville campus of the University of Pennsylvania, and went on to eventually earn my Doctor of Medicine (MD) focusing on naturopathic medicine from the University of Bridgeport. Currently, I am a naturopathic doctor and a private tutor. I work with students mostly on basic science classes through more difficult subjects like organic chemistry, physics, and biochemistry. I am also fluent in Spanish and have tutored students in successfully learning the Spanish language and culture. I have a number of strategies for teaching students, such as using diagrams and pictures for visual learners, and organizing notes into effective study material for all students.

BrackenAs a tutor, I work closely with my students, showing them long-term ways they can learn and retain information. I've previously worked as a Peace Corps volunteer, and taught English at the National University in San Salvador. I then went on to study and practice law for over a decade. I can work with students in American Literature, English, ESL/ELL for both young and adult learners, Essay Editing, Writing, and Spanish. I have a bachelor's degree in English from Union College. I went on to earn my Juris Doctor from the University of Ann Arbor. When I'm not teaching I love to read and write. I make time to get outside and go hiking and sailing.

AmaraI graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor's degree in sociology and I am in the process of starting law school. I began tutoring at an early age and now have over 10 years of tutoring experience at various schools. I am comfortable tutoring students in several different subjects, including sociology, algebra, and English. However, my specialty is with helping students prepare for standardized tests, such as the SSAT, SAT, and the LSAT, among others. I am very passionate about teaching because I enjoy helping to inspire others and helping them achieve their peak performance from a spiritual, physical, and mental standpoint. In terms of hobbies, I enjoy fine arts, travelling, and reading.
