MaryI earned my bachelor's degrees in both Spanish language and psychology from the main campus of the University of Virginia. Tutoring is a passion of mine. Connecting with each student on an individual level helps me guide them towards success academically. I help my students feel safe and comfortable, and not afraid to take risks that are necessary for learning. I provide enough practice, whether it's in reading, Spanish, ESL, writing, or other English subjects, for my students to come to a deep understanding of the material. I have many techniques and strategies that I use until I find the best combination for each specific student based on their needs.

KimberlyI taught for about thirteen and a half years, working with grades five through twelve. I have loved teaching, but I needed a change, so I left to pursue another career. Now I feel as though I am not finished teaching, so I am hoping to tutor students in the Stafford area. My goal is to have a positive impact on each student that I teach. I enjoy tutoring the Spanish language because I believe knowing it opens up many doors. I know that it can be a challenge to learn a new language, but I also know how fun and rewarding it is. In my free time, I like traveling, reading, and working out.
