TammyI'm a premed student studying for a biochemistry degree from Rice University. I'm also seeking business and global health technologies minors. I've been through learning difficulties myself, so I know how to explain topics in ways that students understand them. I like to get to know students and understand how they learn, what their goals are, and what they are struggling with. This helps me cater my sessions to your needs. When I work with students, I like to explain the topic and then have the student work through some problems. This helps me gauge their progress, and I can also help them develop some problem-solving skills along the way. I have worked with students between elementary school and college age, but I'm comfortable working with students of any age and level of ability. I can tutor students in biology, calculus, geometry, chemistry, writing, Mandarin Chinese, English, and test preparation for the SAT, PSAT, and others. Outside of studying, I enjoy student activities programming, debate and speech, being an EMS, and volunteering. I also enjoy going for a swim, playing the piano, writing, and reading.

AdiI attended Rice University for my bachelor's degree in political science. I also earned a sociology minor. As a tutor, I work to keep students engaged by keeping lessons interesting and fun. I encourage collaboration and working together to solve problems as opposed to lecturing. I can tutor students in business, economics, English, history, micro and macroeconomics, and test preparation for the SAT and other exams. My primary subject areas are social sciences and humanities. In my free time, I like to travel, follow soccer, listen to music, read, and play ping-pong.
