JenniferI've been working in education for nearly two decades now, where I've had the opportunity to help students from kindergarten all the way to high school. My favorite part about being a teacher is having the opportunity to build relationships with my students and know what makes them tick. With that information, I can then come up with a way to help them succeed in school and when they're out in the world. The thing that I love most about teaching is having the opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life. I have experience teaching a wide range of subjects, English, Spanish, reading, and writing. Along with a bachelor's degree in education, I also hold a master's in educational administration. My background in education has allowed me to make a difference as a teacher and as an administrator. I believe that the best way to reach a student and help them excel is to take a hands-on approach that accommodates a variety of different learning styles. I also believe that building professional relationships and creating a comfortable learning environment is essential to ensuring that students are motivated and willing to participate in the classroom. When I'm not teaching, I like to spend my time traveling or being outdoors.

DevinI am currently enrolled at Washington University in St. Louis, where I'm pursuing a degree in Spanish and mathematics. After graduating, my goal is to teach high school students math in a way that's fun and easy to understand. I've always had a passion for teaching, which is why I've worked as a tutor throughout the majority of my academic career. Along with teaching math and Spanish, I've also helped middle and high school students gain a better understanding of the classroom materials, in addition to assisting college-ready pupils with studying and mentally preparing for the ACT. I believe that good communication skills, patience, and dedication are all important for connecting with students. Additionally, I've seen firsthand that people learn differently, so what works for one student may not be the best way for someone else to learn. For this reason, I like to move away from the traditional classroom approach and teach using a variety of hands-on activities and exercises that make the learning experience more interactive. In addition to teaching math, I also like to tutor anyone who wants to learn more about Spanish language and culture. I participated in a language learning program where I lived in Chile for six months so that I could gain more insight into Spanish and Latin American culture.

DennisI'm a tutor based in Cleveland, Ohio, where I enjoy reading and exploring nature when I'm not in the classroom. I have my bachelor's degree in accounting from Case Western Reserve University in addition to a law degree. I've spent years working in the professional world as both an attorney and a CPA. Recently, I've been helping new businesses form and organize. I really enjoy the process of teaching new business owners about the best way to organize their business, which is what sparked my interest in tutoring. I have a deep passion for helping others expand their pool of knowledge, which is something I wish to do with my students. I have a solid background of knowledge and experience in the fields of accounting, tax, legal, and business skills. These are technical subject areas and I remember vividly what it was like to first start learning them. It's difficult for many students to master these subjects without the proper guidance. I hope that I can provide that guidance to my students. I firmly believe that once students learn the basic rules and "languages" that these subject areas communicate in, they can find success. I look forward to helping you reach your goals.
