WendyI graduated from Jacksonville University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology. Today I help children with learning disabilities and other learning difficulties, and in particular, I have quite a bit of experience helping students with dyslexia. I've been helping children improve their reading skills for the past seven years. I can help students with reading fluency, reading comprehension, and spelling. I regularly make use of symbols to improve the students orthographic and phonological processing, which help students build a picture in their minds with their spelling and reading. I also have experience as a substitute teacher. I like to tutor students in reading fluency and comprehension, spelling, vocabulary building, and elementary math. To me, reading is the most important skill to develop, because it forms a baseline for everything else in your academic career.

RenataDon't let my extensive academic background intimidate you. I love to use it to impart my knowledge to others. I love teaching because when I am teaching, I feel like I am making a difference in the world. If I help one student meet their academic goals, I feel satisfied. My life experiences in the U.S., as well as the time I have spent abroad, help me share my knowledge through teaching and tutoring. My time abroad has allowed me to learn about cultural differences and allows me to help anyone no matter what their background is. I am currently a teacher and have over eight years of Spanish teaching experience. I have a bachelor's degree in Spanish and one in Latin American Studies, as well as two master's degrees. My master's degrees are in Creative Writing and Media Design. I am also certified in Florida to teach Spanish K-12. Additionally, I have my international TEFL certificate from Argentina. I would love to help your student gain a love and understanding of the Spanish language and culture. I will use my knowledge and experience to enrich my pupil's lives as much as I can. It is my personal goal to make a difference in as many student's lives as possible.

CoreyI earned my international affairs degree at Florida State University, graduating summa cum laude and earning an English literature minor. I tutored as a college student as a volunteer, and I spent summers teaching ESL in Cambodia and Nepal. In the future, I will be moving to Cambodia to teach professionally. Later on, I want to study international conflict resolution in graduate school and work in Washington to encourage laws to protect communities in developing nations. I can tutor students in many different subjects, but my favorites are literature, government, politics, and essay writing. In my spare time, I like to read, hike, visit the beach, and travel.
