OdaineAs a tutor and mentor to elementary and high school students, I developed a love for tutoring students in math, economics, and business administration as well as in SAT prep and the college admissions process. I believe any challenging subject can be learned with some time and effort. To start, I look for areas for improvement and then work to build the student's knowledge. I teach simple techniques to help you better approach a problem, and work collaboratively to help you gain a better understanding. A native of Jamaica, I've also worked as a college administrator and hold a Bachelors of Art in Economics. I enjoy photography, blogging, and dancing in my free time.

JavedI began my life of tutoring when I was in high school. I worked with elementary students in reading and math. This opportunity allowed me to discover the passion I have for sharing knowledge with others and seeing them succeed at reaching their goals. I attend the College Park campus of the University of Maryland, where I'm pursuing my bachelor's degree in computer science. I lean towards tutoring math and science subjects at most levels, and also basic and advanced computer skills and programs. I've also been able to help some students do well preparing for standardized exams like the GED, SAT, and others. I enjoy it when I see a student achieve something they thought wasn't possible.

JackI have an extensive academic background including a bachelor's degree in political science and government from The College of New Jersey and a master's degree in history from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I am currently earning a Ph.D. in U.S. and Latin American history from the University of Maryland College Park. I would love to share my knowledge with students of all ages. I can help with many subjects such as writing, history, English, essay editing, political science, and test prep. The thing I enjoy the most about teaching is being able to inspire my students to learn about the past by reimagining it. I enjoy hiking, biking, reading, and espresso in my free time.
