PeggyAs a tutor, I'm dedicated to helping each student get better. I understand that every student is different and learns in different ways, so I call on my 15 years of tutoring experience to address each student's individual needs. When I'm working with a student, I make it a point to be encouraging and share in their success, because this helps students understand that I care about their progress. I also make it a priority to develop respect with each student and stay patient regardless of their level so they have the best chance for success. I can help students with English, phonics, reading, GED preparation, ESL, and more.

JaneI attended Sweet Briar College for my undergraduate degree in history. I also minored in medieval Renaissance studies. I then went on to the Charlotte School of Law for my juris doctor. I'm now a lawyer. As a law student, I tutored students in a number of different areas including geography, history, and elementary school math. I have excellent study skills I can share with students, and I enjoy helping others learn and achieve success. My favorite subjects are law and history. My favorite law topics are constitutional law, property law, and contract law. I focus on making these and any other topics fun and interesting for student to learn. When students are engaged, they are more likely to be successful. In my free time, I enjoy reading historical fiction and watching movies. I also love animals.

ElizabethI have taught English and Latin for thirty years at the middle and high school setting. I taught in classrooms with between 20 and 30 students. I am now enjoying tutoring as the primary way to share my knowledge with others. I can help students in both English and Latin because of my strong academic background in both. I have my bachelor's degree in secondary education from the University of South Carolina. I am in North Augusta, and I would like to focus my sessions in this area. I enjoy volunteering, reading, and playing a psaltery when I am not tutoring or teaching. I look forward to meeting you.
